Prayers

Take a moment to listen to the still small voice of God within the bustle of the day which has begun. Find a quiet place where you can enjoy precious moments of peace in God's presence. Sit quietly and listen to the sounds of the world around you, both outside and in the place where you are. Breathe slowly and rest in God's presence... You may find it helpful to listen to the Daily Prayers on the Pray as you Go website

The Office of Morning Prayer is said daily in the church at 8.00pm

Prayers for this week

We pray this week as always, for peace on earth. For all who suffer in conflict regions of the world. We bring to you also the violence on our streets and pray for that to end. We pray also for all who are homeless and those who sleep on our streets. We ask that councils and

Government will tackle the injustice that seems to be widening between the haves and have nots. We pray for all who are ill in either body, mind or spirit and ask that as Christian people we will be able to a light that shines and helps all in need. We continue to pray for Yvonne Mellor, Sally Kirk, and those known only to us.

Finally Lord, we remember all who have died praying for the soul of  Joan Ellis.
