Since January 2010 St. Bartholomew's have held fund raising events for the Tariro House in Harare.
In the local language of Shona, Tariro means hope.
Hope, a small word but a powerful word too.
Tariro house is a haven for children and young adults who have found themselves homeless through many reasons and funds are always needed to pay for schooling, clothing, food and welfare.
Rev. Michael travels once or twice a year to Zimbabwe and is so touched by the warmth and friendliness of the people but also so disturbed that so many people, young and old find themselves without families and homes.
The marvellous and tireless work that goes on is an inspiration to us all.
All the children the charity helps thanks to you are now at school, some starting at college but without your help, this work will become much harder.
And if you would like to donate Visit the Tariro website
